试论地方高校图书馆编目工作的地位及变革

摘　　要：随着信息处理的自动化、社会化程度的不断提高 ,文献编目工作由分散编目变为集中编目 ,并向联合编目发展 ,从而大大降低了地方高校图书馆编目工作的劳动强度 ,也因而造成人们对其编目工作的地位产生错觉。因此 ,必须对当前地方高校图书馆编目工作的地位进行重新的认识 ,并且应该对其工作重心、工作模式和业务范围以及人员素质进行相应的变革。As the automation and socialization of the information processing greatly developed , cataloging operations in the regional university library is changing from individual cataloging to centralized cataloging and now is developing into union cataloging . Thus the amount of cataloging operations is greatly reduced . Therefore , we should completely recognize the importance of cataloging in the regional university library . And we should pay great attention to the key elements in cataloging , reform cataloging patterns and scopes and improve the cataloguer's qualifications .
