广东茂名高岭土的特性与应用研究

摘　　要：本文对茂名高岭土资源的地质、矿石、选矿工艺、产品性能和应用等内容做了研究和论述。茂名高岭土是我国罕见的优质高岭土,作为涂料,高岭土的质量可与英国S.P.S.土和美国的ALPHACOTE土相媲美。茂名高岭土的开发与应用,不仅将改变我国依赖进口造纸涂料高岭土的不合理局面,而且有可能打入国际市场。In this paper, the geology, mineralogy, ore dressing, property and utilization of kaolinite deposit from Maoming, Guangdong Province are discussed. Maoming kaolinite is a high quality and rarely distributed clay mineral deposit in China. As a coated paper kaoli- nite, its quality is comparable with the S. P. S. clay of Great Britain and with the ALPHA- COLE clay of United States. The development and utilization of Maoming kaolinite is not only alterlng the fact that the use of coated paper kaolinite should be depend on the import from abroad, but it furnishes the technical foundation for export also.
