摘　　要：Reaction of 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetone with metal copper in methanol gave the complex [Cu(C_8H_4O_2SF_3)_2]. The X-ray crystal structure of the complex has been determined. The crystal is monoclinic, space group P2_1/c, M_r= 505. 9 with cell parameters α= 10. 582(1) , b=11. 129(2), c=8. 044(3) A, β=104. 61(2)°, Z=2, V = 916. 7A￣3, D_c=1. 833 g·cm￣(-3), F(000) =426, μ= 9. 8 cm￣(-1). The Cu atom is coordinated by four O atoms to form square plane.
