组建千兆以太网的若干技术分析及研究

摘　　要：千兆以太网在网络物理层采用了快速光纤连接 ,使得在MAC(介质访问控制 )层上数据的传输速度提高了 10倍 ,具有带宽增加、性能价格比提高等明显优势。通过对千兆以太网的技术分析 ,提出了千兆以太网典型的组网模式 ,以及如何对现有以太网或快速以太网进行升级 ,具有一定的实用参考价值。Optical fiber linkage being adopted at physical layer in Gigabit Ethernet, this technology makes the data’s relaying speed increase 10 times at MAC layer, therefore the Gigabit Ethernet has advantages of wider band and improved performance/price. Through analyzing the technology of the Gigabit Ethernet , the authors introduce the typical model and updating of the Ethernet LANs or the rapid Ethernet LANs in details, that is valuable in practice.
