摘　　要：西部地区的区域创新不仅是适应经济全球化和知识经济的需要 ,而且也是发挥西部地区资源优势 ,促进西部经济跨越式发展的必然选择。西部地区的区域创新既面临有利条件 ,同时也面临许多障碍和制约因素。加快西部地区区域创新步伐 ,必将促进西部经济更快发展。Regional innovation in western China not only meets the need of economic globalization and knowledge economy, but also takes the advantages of its resources and speeds up western economic development. Regional innovation in western China is confronted with both favorable conditions and obstacles and constraints. To accelerate the pace of regional innovation in western China will contribute much to the faster development of western economy.
