摘　　要：本文对棱皮龟(Dermochelys coriacea)脊柱的形态特征进行了记述,并从比较解剖学的角度对棱皮龟脊椎骨的一些特征进行了讨论。棱皮龟脊柱除第8枚以后的尾椎外,其余椎骨的椎体和髓弓大都以缝合方式连接,骨缝明显,并未愈合。躯干部相邻椎骨的前、后关节突形成不可动关节。颈椎无横突孔。In this paper, the morphological characters of the vertebral column(columna vertebralis) in Leathery Turtles(Dermochelys coriacea) are described and discussed from comparative anatomy point of view. The vertebrae in some regions present the following distinctive features by which they may be distinguished from other tur(?)les: 1. The vertebral arch (arcus vertabrae) and body (corpus)are not fused by ossification with the exception of the eighth coccygeal vertebrae (vertebrae coccyeal) and laters, there are sutures between the vertebral arch and body. 2. In the trunk region, two anterior and two posterier articular processes of the vertebrae (Zygapophsis) are joined immovably with those of adjacent,except for the first and last vertebra. 3. Transverse foramen (foramen transversarium) is absent on either side of each cervical vertebra (vertebra cervicales).
