摘 要:通过对电子在线偏振脉冲激光场的非弹性散射过程的 3D计算模拟 ,研究了电子在强激光场中非弹性散射及加速效应与激光偏振方向之间的变化规律。结果发现 ,在激光场强Q0 <10时 ,电子的最大出射能量几乎与激光的偏振方向无关 ,这与传统的有质动力势模型一致 ;在Q0 =10时 ,电子的最大出射能量开始敏感于激光的偏振方向 ;当Q0 >10时 ,电子的出射能量非常敏感于激光的偏振方向 ,这与传统的有质动力势模型相违。The effect of laser polarization direction on electron inelastic scattering and acceleration with extra-intense linear-polarized pulsed lasers was studied by means of 3D simulation of the relativistic Newton-Lorentz equation of motion. It has been found that when Q 0 is less than ten (Q 0=eE/m e ωc measures the laser intensity), there is no noticeable polarization effect, which is consistent with the traditional ponderomotive potential model. While Q 0>30, the electron scattering and acceleration are found to be sensitive to the laser polarization direction. Tthe characteristics of the polarization effect examined were in details. This study is of significance not only in understanding the features of non-linear Compton scattering which underlies the acceleration effect, but also in experimentally testing the laser-driven electron acceleration as well as designing laser accelerator in the future.
