摘  要:南海的现代碳酸盐质沉积,主要是生物源。据生物组分、矿物成分和主要化学元素的垂向变化,分为三带:文石质生物富积带(60m以浅);镁方解石质生物富积带(60-400m);方解石质生物富积带(400-3800m)。The recent carbonate sediments of the South China Sea are mainly biogenous. According to the vertical change of their organic composition, mineral composition, and main chemical elements, they are obviously divided into 3 zones :1. Rich aragonite organism accumulation zone, whose depth distribution ranges from the sea level to 60m; 2. Rich magnesium calcite organism accumulation zone, whose depth distribution ranges from 60-400m; 3. Rich calcite organism accumulation zone, whose depth distribution ranges from 400-3800m.Below the depth of 3800m, it may be called a non biocarbonate zone.
