摘　　要：数据库是信息工作的基础 ,是现代信息服务业的支柱。在建设信息高速公路时 ,不能忽视信息资源的建设。建立质量标准高、种类齐全、覆盖面广、公众易得的公用数据库是中国数据库业的目标 ,也是信息时代的要求。本文从数据库业的重要性入手 ,分析我国数据库业的现状 。The industry of database is the foundation of information,and is also the support of the modern information service industry.The construction of information resources can not beignored when we construct the information highway.It is target,as well as the request of our time for China to build the high quality public databases,which cover all aspects of society and economy.This paper starts with introducing the importance of database,then the current state of database in China is analyzed.Some principles and suggestion are brought up for the development of industry of database in the end.
