摘　　要：本文从传统图书馆的四大职能出发 ,论述了信息社会及知识经济对传统图书馆职能的挑战。最后着重论述了在继承传统职能的基础上 ,现代图书馆服务内容的更新和服务领域的扩展。The thesis begins with the four functions of conventional library,and then explains the challenge of information society and knowledge economy to the conventional library.At the end of the thesis it expounds to renew the service content of the modern library and develop the service field on the basis of succeeding conventional functions.
