摘　　要：本文介绍了世界各地采用ＰＳＳ抑制电力系统低频振荡的情况。ＰＳＳ作为成熟的技术已在世界各地得到普遍的采用，建议我国各电力局进一步推广采用这一简单、经济、有效的实用技术，以提高电力系统的动态稳定。In this paper the application of power system stablizer(PSS)to damping the low frequency oscillation abroad is introduced and analyzed.As a mature,simple,effective and economic means the PSS has been used for improving the dynamic stability of power system。The widespread adoption of the PSS in China is proposed。
