摘  要:把有机闪烁激活剂 p- TP和 POPOP掺入低熔融温度的无机玻璃中 ,对闪烁玻璃的荧光光谱、玻璃的透光率和有机激活剂在玻璃中的实际含量进行了研究。结果表明 ,p- TP和 POPOP可以掺入低熔融温度玻璃中并稳定存在 ,但是由于有机激活剂在引入过程中的挥发 ,它们在玻璃中的含量相对较低。由于玻璃基体中重原子的影响 ,闪烁玻璃的发射峰向长波方向移动 ,POPOP已起不到波长转换剂的作用 。High energy physics (HEP) research requires fast and radiation hard scintillating detector. Nogues et al used sol gel glass as matrix to prepare glass needed by such a detector; their glass possesses short decay time but its light output is not high enough and its density is too low. Our research has succeeded in preparing a glass that is somewhat faster than their glass and about the same in light output and has analyzed how to increase the light output. We doped the organic scintillating activators, p terphenyl (p TP) and 1,4 bis 2 (5 phenyloxazolyl) benzene (POPOP), into a tin fluorophosphate glass. The fluorescent spectra and the optical transmittance of these doped glasses were studied, and the actual concentrations of organic activators in the doped glasses measured. The fluorescence emission peaks of the doped glasses move to a longer wavelength compared with those of the organic matrixes doped with the same activators. It indicates that POPOP does not serve as a wavelength shifter in the glasses as it does in organic matrixes. Instead, it serves as an organic activator. According to our analysis, several factors caused the light output of the glasses to be quite low. Because of the evaporation of the dopants during doping, the concentration of the dopants in the glasses is very low. The transmittance of the doped glass is relatively low because of the existence of some defects, which were formed during the evaporation of organic activators. To increase the light output of the glasses, the optical transmittance of the glasses must be improved and the concentration of dopants in the glasses must be increased.
