摘　　要：介绍国际上光纤工业生产与市场方面一些值得注意的最新动态，其中主要包括光纤制造工艺方面的主要美国专利的保护期将在最近几年到期的事实及其对今后光纤市场的影响，各公司间的联合与兼并趋势，光纤降价趋势；The most recent notable trend in worldwide optical fiber production and market will be introduced. It includes the fact that some important US patents concerned with optical fiber fabrication will expire in a few years and its effects on the optical fiber market in years to come, the merger and acquisition trend ,the trend on fiber price descent. This paper also expounds the strategies should be taken by new entrants in optical fiber market.
