摘　　要：1985年以来，我国咸宁地区利用外资从无到有，从少到多，目前已初具规模，对我区调整产业结构，加快技术进步，扩大出口创汇，增强工业后劲，促进地方经济的发展，起到了重要作用。根据国家十年规划和“八五”计划的要求，我们要进一步扩大对外开放，坚持以效益为中心，建立和健全服务体系，坚固提高，重点发展，积极有效地吸引外资，把利用外资工作提高到一个新水平。Xianning is located in the heart of Central China. Since its opening to the outside world, Xianning has actively introduced foreign investment by utilizing the advantage of its rich resources and has established a great number of enterprises with foreign investment. The industrial structure and capability to earn foreign exchange have been improved. Xianning is looking forward to welcoming more foreign investors to invest in this area.
