摘　　要：介绍了印刷纸的平滑度特性及其与印刷效果的关系，同时介绍了纸张平滑度的不同测定方法。仪器的特性与实验结果表明：印刷表面粗糙度仪测定结果与印刷效果相关性最好，应加快在我国的推广应用。The smoothness characteristics of printing paper surface and the relationship between these characteristics and printing quality are introduced，and different testing methods of paper surface smoothness are also presented． The characteristics of testing instruments and experiment results showed that the relationship between the testing results of P．P．S and the printing effects is the best，so P．P．S tester should be developed and used widely in China as soon as possible．
