A New Species of Butterfly in Shaanxi Province

摘　　要：在彬县和永寿县交界的泾河大峡谷海拔 80 5～ 870m处 ,发现一种小型罕见的蝴蝶———蟾眼蝶 (TriphysaPhrynePallas) 。Dongzhuang Pivotal Hydraulic Project is one of the important projects for Shaanxi Province to carry out the development in West China and to beautify the region. A team of specialists entrusted by Shanghai Exploring & Design Institute of the Ministry of Water Conservancy, under the leadership of Professor Guo Dezhi of Shaanxi Normal University, has conducted a survey of biological resources for the project. Around the border between Bin County and Yongshou County in the Jinghe River valley, at altitude of 805～870 meters, a rare species of butterfly, Triphysa Phryne Pallas , was found, renewing the species of butterflies in Shaanxi Province.
