摘　　要：校园网是学校信息化建设的重点 ,在校园网的建设中 ,选择什么样的主干网络技术将直接关系到校园网的先进程度及对各种网络多媒体应用的支持程度。本文根据网络发展趋势 ,对ATM技术与近年来发展起来的千兆以太网交换技术进行了分析对比 。Compus network is the critical point to the informationalized construction of a college ,in the course of the network construction ,the choice of the main network technique is to affect its advanced level and supportive degree to the application of various network multimedia .Based on the developing trend of network,this article makes an analysis and comparison on ATM technique and the exchange technique of the developing billion Ethemet,as well as some issues which needs more attention while upgrading a network.
