摘　　要：给出了MPEG-4中基于小波变换的静态纹理编码，包括最低频带和高频子带的自适应算术编码的算法和仿真实验结果。In this paper， the algorithm of still image coding mode based on wavelet transform in the MPEG-4 is analyzed， which include the adaptive arithmetic coding of the lowest frequency subband and the higher order subband． Then some experimental results are presented．
