摘　　要：共同基金已成为美国仅次于商业银行的第二大金融中介组织。它对于完善金融资本市场,广泛吸纳社会闲散资金,降低投资风险,规范个人投资行为,扩大投资领域,增加投资收益等都有重要作用。它是美国经济发展和社会中不可或缺的重要组成部分。Mutual fund is the second largest financial medium in America inferior to commerical banks.Since it is of very great importance in consummating financial and capital market,widely drawing social idle capital,reducing investment haz- ard,formulating personal investment conduct,enlarging investment field and increasing investment profits,it is an indispens- able and important part in American economic development and social life.
