摘　　要：以大量详实的数据和实例 ,论述了电子阅览室在图书馆数字化的进程中的重要作用。提出了建立和完善数字图书馆网 ,不只是权威大馆的任务 ,更重要的应由各中小馆通过建立完善自己的电子阅览室来进行参与的观点。并以作者单位电子阅览室设计为实例 ,介绍了ProxyServer设置的实际作用及其相关网络技术的处理 。With a lot of data and examples,the paper discusses the consequence of E reading in the procession of digital library It also proposes that,not only those leading libraries,but also other medium and small size libraries should establish and complete their digital library networks The paper introduces the actual function of Proxy Server and relevant network techniques to locate,as well as how E reading functions in a digital library
