摘　　要：当阳市长坂坡广场规划，注重对城市历史文化渊源及现状地理环境的理解与分析，阐明了在现代城市景观设计中只有把握文化脉搏，立足城市特色与个性，因地制宜、因势造景，方能创造出有个性、有品味的城市景观环境。The planning of Changbanpo plaza in Dangyang as a case study, the paper states the basic conception of urban plaza design. It is suggested that to make a characteristic and classic plaza will not only have a good communication of the city culture meaning, it will also be harmonized with the environment. As a result,to creat a specific character and high grade taste of city scenery in Dangyang.
