摘　　要：应用标量近似有限元技术,对具有任意折射率分布圆光纤的传播常数进行了计算,计算结果表明,此法比其它近似方法或精确方法的精度高、所用的矩阵维数少。The propagation characteristics of circular fibers with arbitrary refractive-index profiles are computed by using an approximate scalar finite element technique. The results are compared with those obtained by other approximate or exact methods. It shows that accurate results can be obtained with matrices of lower order.
