摘　　要：齿小蠹属 (Ips)是世界范围的森林害虫 ,其很多种类能直接危害活树 ,是先锋害虫 ,该文从鉴定检索、分布范围、危害寄主三方面对美国Ips are worldwide forest pest insects.Its many species can directly attack living trees and they are pioneer pest insects.The paper introduced 30 species of Ips from the U.S.A in the following three aspects:identification and index,distribution and hosts.
