摘　　要：Word是图书杂志编排的主要字处理软件 ,如何将 Word编排的书刊文档直接在激光打印机上镜像输出 ,是出版社面临的主要问题 ,也是降低印刷成本的主要手段。作者首先介绍了HP激光打印机 PCL5命令集和 PCL5的四种数据压缩算法 ,然后以 HP6L激光打印机的 PCL命令集为例介绍了 Word文档镜像打印原理及实现方法。Microsoft word is one of main word processing software for publishing of books and magazines. To print mirror word documents with a laser printer directly is a very important problem for reducing publishing cost. The paper first introduce PCL5 command set and the principles of its four data compression algorithms. Then PCL5 command set of HP 6L laser printer is used as an example to illustrate the principles and implement of mirror print for Microsoft Word documents.
