海口地区第四系湛江组灰色粘土的工程地质特性

摘　　要：海口地区普遍存在一层第四系下更新统灰色粘土地层 ,地质界一般将其归为湛江组。此层粘土具有一定厚度和强度 ,常作为一般工业与民用建筑的主要持力层 ,从土工试验和现场试验角度 。A layer of gray clay of Pleistocene series of Quatemary system commonly exists in Haikou District and it has been belonged to Zhanjiang Group. This layer of clay posses a certain thickness and strength, commonly being as the main bearing layer of general industrial and civil architecture. The preliminary analysis on the engineering geology was made in the paper from the angle of geotechnic test and field test.
