摘　　要：近代中国基督教会的自立运动 ,在岭南地区表现得尤为突出和明显。一是出现的时间早 ,1 9世纪下半叶已经在个别地区初露端倪 ;其次是华人教会人士的自立意识较强 ,本色化的步伐较快 ;三是自立的华人教会有着较为坚实的物质后盾 ,特别是国外华人教友的支持是一个非常重要的因素。岭南教会的自立自传运动和本色化运动 ,既是教会内部适应形势、着意变革的反映 ,也是中国人民争取民族独立和维护民族尊严的爱国激情在宗教运动方面的体现。正是在这一汹涌澎湃的变革浪潮中 ,岭南文化与外来文化进行着交织。The self-independent movement in modern Chinese Christian Churches appeared obvious and outstanding in Guangdong. It arose here in the second half of the 19th century.In the local churches the self-independent consciousness of the church people was quite strong and the step of localization was also very fast. Such churches had a stable economic background which was greatly owed to the support of overseas Chinese Christians. The self-independent, self-preaching and localization movement of the Guangdong Christian churches reflected the will of the churches for reform and being suitable to the situation and also symbolized the patriotic enthusiasm of the Chinese people struggling for the nation's independence and dignity within the religious movement . It was in this field that the Lingnan culture met with, struggled against and absorbed foreign cultures.
