摘　　要：世界著名软件公司Irprise出品的C++Builder是客户端最优秀的软件之一 ,Informix是Unix服务器下三大数据库(Oracle、Informix、SyBase)。两强的强强集合构成Client/Serv er模式无疑具有重大的意义。C++Builder强大的计算功能和优秀便利的报表设计 ,外加丰富的第三方VCL(VisualCompo nentLibrary)构件库弥补了Informix数据库在这几方面的不足。与此同时 ,Informix -Online动态服务器优秀性能和它的分布式通讯构成C++Builder强大的后盾。本文先叙述两者的连接方式和C++Builder有关部件 。C ++ Builder designed by Irprise,a world famous soft ware corporation,is one of the best soft wares for the clients.Informix are the three main data bases(Oracle?Informix?SyBase)supported by the Unix Server.No doubt,Client/Server mode on the combination of the above two superiorities must have great significance.The deficiency of the data base can be made up by the better calculating function,the most convenient design for report forms and the component which make the third VCL (Visual Component Library) more abundant.The excellent feature of the Informix-Online dynamic server and the scattering communication become the biggest support of C ++ Builder.In this essay,the methods of the combination and the components of C ++ Builder will be firstly presented,then the details of the procedures will be displayed after the example of the document management.
