摘 要:通过原子转移自由基聚合反应 ,合成了苯乙烯、丙烯酸丁酯和 3 -甲基丙烯酰氧基丙基三甲氧基硅烷的三元共聚物 ,发现该共聚合体系是一“活性”/受控聚合体系 ,三元共聚物的结构通过红外光谱和核磁共振得以确认。研究了该三元共聚物作为大分子偶联剂对云母增强聚丙烯力学性能的影响 。A series of ternary copolymers of styrene, n butyl acrylate and 3 methacryloxyl propyl trimethoxyl silane were synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The molecular weight and molecular weight distribution for such copolymers can be controlled, and its structure was characterized by means of IR and 1H-NMR. The mechanical properties of mica filled polypropylene were significantly improved with using the ternary copolymer as coupling agent to treat the surface of mica. These experimental data can be attributed to the enhancement of interfacial adhesion between the mica and polypropylene phase, which was observed by SEM. Furthermore, the mechanical properties of mica filled polypropylene can be controlled well by adjusting the molecular weight and composition of the ternary copolymers.
