摘　　要：本文认为建设花园式生态城市是杭州实施“住在杭州”战略的必然选择 ,因此对花园式生态城市的涵义和特征及杭州基础条件进行了分析 ,最后提出了主要对策。This article believes that the construction of a Garden City'is the inevitable Choose for Hangzhou city to make itself a pleasant place to live.Thus,analysis has been conducted into the concept and sustainablility of such a garden city as well as the basic conditions of todays Hangzhou.Finally,the main measures for this strategy are put forward.
