摘  要:根据高频地波雷达探测海洋表面状态参数时 ,雷达系统要同时具备较高的距离分辨率和速度分辨率的基本原理 ,结合大范围内的连续目标的特殊性 ,本文从 6个方面比较了线性调频中断连续波与伪随机码调相连续波两种脉冲压缩方法的性能特点 ,解决了雷达总体设计时工作波形选择的问题 .结论指出 ,考虑到工程实现时设备的复杂程度 ,海洋探测高频地波雷达 。HF Ground Wave Radar(GWR) is used to extract ocean state parameters including surface currents,wind and waves.It's target is particular large range continuous 'soft target', the range resolution and the velocity resolution should be very good.Before the discussion on the general design of GWR, frequency modulated interrupted continuous wave(FMICW) and pseudo random noise(PN) phase modulation continuous wave pluse compression methods should be accurately compared.The radar operation waveform style,on which the complexity of radar system is depend on, is fundamental to HF GWR engineering design.This paper discusses the property of the FMICW and PN code,such as compression ratio, range resolution, range side lobe, complexity of facilities, range effect, and Doppler shift sensitivity. The result can serve as the reference to radar engineering design.
