摘　　要：九江长虹大道第四纪地层剖面层序齐全,露头良好,作者对剖面进行了岩石地层学、磁性地层学、重矿物和粘土矿物学、地球化学研究,探讨了第四纪沉积环境,取得了一些新的资料和进展。The Quaternary stratigraphic section along the Changhong Highway, Jiujiang, is characterized by a complete stratigraphic sequence and good outcrops. The authors have conducted lithostratigraphic, magnetostratigraphic, heavy-mineral and clay mineralogical and geochemical studies and studied Quaternary sedimentary environments along the section. Some new information has been obtained and progress made.
