摘　　要：西部发展历来是党和国家领导人非常关注的问题 ,本文拟就毛泽东与邓小平关于西部开发的战略构想、措施、特点作简单比较 。Developing western China was always of great concern to the Party's and our nation's leaders. This paper makes a comparison between Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's conception of the western development in terms of strategic design, measures and their respective characteristics, from which we can benefit in today's western development.
