摘　　要：本文在扼要介绍地图分类基础上,简要列述了各国专题制图现状和特点;并对国内专题制图现状,进行了历史的分析和可比性的反映。尔后、文章对专题制图发展前景,又从不同角度进行了比较深入的分析和论述,明确指出从现状地图到动态变化地图,再到预测预报地图;从资源分布地图到综合评价地图,再到规划设计地图,是专题制图深入发展的标志,是一种新的趋向。After briefing the map classification, this essay lays out the present situation and features of abroad and analyses historically the mapping at home showing their comparative results. The prospection of development of thematic mapping is discussed and analysed from various points in detail, pointing out the criterion marks for the further development of thematic mapping, they are the marks showing the development from mapping of the present situation to dynamic mapping, then to prognostic and forecasting mapping; from resources distribution mapping to the comprehensive evaluation mapping, then to the programming and designing mapping. These marks are of a new trend.
