摘　　要：马楚是五代军阀马殷在湖南建立的割据政权，但它能认 清自己面临的不利形势，对外采取臣服中原朝廷的策略，对内实行“养士息民”的政策，使 经济和文化均出现了短暂的繁荣。The Ma-Chu Realm was a separatist regime set up by Ma Ying, a warlord of t he Five Dynasties(which are Later Liang, Later Tang, Later Jin, Later Han and La ter Zhou). It was able to see clearly the unfavourable situa tion facing itself. Theref ore it carried out the external policy of submitting Central Plains Courties to its own rule and the internal policy of maintaining an army and recuperating the people so that a temporary prosperity turned up in its economy and culture.
