摘 要:移动计算正成为一个迅速发展的领域。然而由于移动环境的种种限制,为开发移动应用带来巨大的挑战。文章讨论解决此问题的一种新兴技术:移动中间件技术,并提出一个移动中间件的实际应用体系结构,为移动终端设备提供一种简单、安全的方法访问已存在的分布式对象系统。Mobile computing is a rapidly growing market sector. However, the mobile environment imposes a number of challenges to users and service providers when compared to fixed, wired network. In general, most application software, operating systems, and network infrastructures are intended for more conventional environments, and so the mobile, wireless user has great difficulty exploiting the computational infrastructure as fully as he or she might. This article discusses an emerging technology called mobile middleware that address this problem and enable your application to be mobile friendly, and propose a light-weight and easy-to-implement architecture which gives small-footprint, Internet-enabled devices a simple and secure method to access existing distributed object systems. Using industry standards such as XML, HTTP, and Java instead of a proprietary implementation enhances ease of development and support from third-party tools and vendors.
