摘  要:目的 观察中脑导水管周围灰质 (PAG)内 γ-氨基丁酸 (GABA)阳性神经元与甲硫氨酸 -脑啡肽 (Met- ENK)、亮氨酸 -脑啡肽 (L eu- ENK)、β-内啡肽 (β- END)和强啡肽 (Dyn)阳性终末的联系 .方法 免疫荧光组织化学双重染色 ,染色结果在激光共聚焦扫描显微镜下观察 .结果 可见直径较小的GABA阳性神经元主要散在分布于 PAG的内侧区和腹外侧区 . GABA阳性终末在 PAG各区的密度均较高 .以小型为主的少量 Met- ENK,L eu- ENK和 Dyn阳性神经元见于 PAG的各区 ,但未见β- END阳性胞体 . Met- ENK,L eu- ENK,β-END和 Dyn阳性终末也主要分布于 PAG的内侧区和腹外侧区 . Met- ENK,L eu- ENK,β- END和 Dyn阳性终末围绕在GABA阳性神经元的胞体或树突的周围并形成密切接触 .结论  PAG内含内源性阿片样物质 (Opiate- like substances,OL S)的阳性终末与 GABA能神经元形成密切接触 ,提示可能对 GABA能神经元的活动具有调控作用 .AIM To observe the connections between γ aminobutyric acid like immunoreactivie (GABA LI) neurons and methionine enkephaline (Met ENK) , leucine enkephaline (Leu ENK) , β endorphin (β END) and dynorphin (Dyn) LI terminals in the rat periaqueductal gray (PAG). METHODS Immunofluorescence histochemical double staining technique was used and the staining results were observed with confocal laser scanning microscope. RESULTS Majority of the GABA LI neurons were small in size and scattered within the whole PAG, and concentrated in its medial and ventrolateral subregions. High density of GABA LI terminals was also found in the PAG. Met ENK , Leu ENK , and Dyn LI neurons were seldom encountered in the PAG, while no β END LI neurons were observed in the PAG. There were high density of Met ENK , Leu ENK , β END and Dyn LI terminals in the PAG, mainly in its medial and ventrolateral subregions. Met ENK , Leu ENK , β END and Dyn LI terminals were located around the somata and dendrites of GABAergic neurons in the PAG, some of them were found to form close contacts with GABAergic neurons. CONCLUSION Opiate like substances containing terminals form close contacts with GABAergic neurons in the PAG, which suggest that Opiate like substances might have regulation and control effects on GABAergic neurons in the PAG
