摘　　要：该文回顾广州爱群大厦的建筑历史，分析它的建筑特点和环境特点，指出它的先进性，并提出不应在江边兴建现代高层建筑的观点。This paper reviews the achitectural history of 'GuangZhou AiQun Buiding' and analyses its achitectural and environmental characters, It points out how advanced the building was at that time and raises the viewpoint that the highraises shouldn't be built on the riverside.
