摘　　要：混沌广泛存在，工程领域的混沌现象和混沌应用正在引起广大工程界学者的关注。本文概述了工程中的混沌现象及混沌应用研究的主要进展和研究现状，并展望了它们的发展前景。Chaos exists widely in nature. The chaotic phenomena in engineering and theapplications of chaos have recently been attracting attention in the nonlinear dynamics literatures. Some chaotic phenomena, the main research progress of the applications of chaos and the prospect in the near future are outlined in this paper.
