摘　　要：通过对台湾地区的访问和学术交流 ,作者概述了台湾土壤 ,介绍了台湾土壤研究的特点 。The paper presents a brief introduction of soils and soil science research in Taiwan upon a special professional visit to the island by the authors. The introduction includes soil forming conditions under different land use types, soil classification and distribution, main soil science teaching or research units and current work, and correlation of scientific terms in soil science between both sides across the Taiwan Strait.
