摘  要:对白喉毒素及其编码基因的结构及其作用原理进行了详细说明 。The main purpose of this paper is focusing on the functions and physiological mechanisms of Diphtheria toxin(DT) which is harmful to many kinds of different plants and animals.However,the most attractive application of DT in molecular biology is it's highly specific toxicity to the cells which blocks the process of protein synthesis.We have indicated the details about the structures and functions of DT and it's coding gene Tox.A general introduction about their applications in the molecular biology has also been given.
