摘　　要：天文观测中常常遇到极微弱光信号的探测问题，望远镜接收到的光信号仅有很少的光子数甚至单光子，需要在噪声远远大于有用信息的不利情况下识别出有用的信号。受益于当代高科技的迅速发展，人们得以采用多种手段不断提高信号分离和探测能力。本文介绍了可门控型单光子探测器及其在云南天文台１．２ｍ望远镜激光测距系统中的应用。The gateable single photon detectors can efficaciously catch the usable signals from the numerous noises, in case of the signals is heavily submerged in noises. The application of the gateable cooled avalanche diode and gateable microchannel plate photomultiplier in the laser ranging system of the l.2m telescope of Yunnan Observatory were presented.
