摘　　要：简要介绍了GPS发展的历史和现状、GPS改进的背景 ;详细介绍了 2 0 0 0～ 2 0 1 0年间 ,GPS将作的主要改进 ,分析了各种改进措施所带来的影响 ;The applications of GPS have been so widely spreaded that over a million GPS receivers have been set up annually since 1997. To satisfy the needs of civil users and the authorized users, great improvement has been made on GPS performance which will keep the advancement of DOD. In this article, the history and current situation of GPS development, and background for the improvement of GPS are briefly introduced. Then the main improvement of GPS performance and its impact taking place in the years from 20002010 are introduced in detail, lastly the suggestion is put forward that how the users face with the improvement.
