摘　　要：针对PowerBuilder缺乏多媒体支持的情况,本文介绍了对其进行多媒体扩展的思想,并利用Windows API对多媒体的支持和PowerBuilder的外部函数调用及其定时器的功能,给出了实现发声、MIDI音乐播放、AVI视频播放、CD播放和动画等的具体方法。In allusion to be short of multimedia support in PowerBuilder, an extension concept of multimedia is introduced in this article. By use of multimedia support of Windows API together with PowerBuilders external function call and timer, the realized methods of playing waveform sound, MIDI music, AVI file, CD and displaying animations are presented.
