摘　　要：国际地球科学联合会(IUGS)将二叠系-三叠系界线(PTB)全球层型剖面和点(GSSP)正式确定在中国南部的浙江省长兴县煤山D剖面及其27c层之底,即牙形石Hindeodus parvus的首现(FAD)处。The Global Stratotype Section and Point (GSSP) of the Permian-Triassic Boundary has been ratified by IUGS. The boundary is defined at the base of Hindeodus parvus horizon, i.e. the base of Bed 27c of Meishan section D, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, South China. This paper provides a comprehensive description of the GSSP and summarizes the crucial achievements at the Meishan section, including biostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy and cyclostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy, eventostratigraphy and chemostratigraphy, and chronostratigraphy.
