摘　　要：介绍了利用主动信息环境 (Active Information Environm ent,AIE)在虚拟产品开发 (Virtual Product Devel-opment,VPD)中实现并行工程 (Concurrent Engineering,CE)的方法 ,详细讨论了主动信息环境的概念、系统框架、所实现的功能及关键技术 .文中以锅炉的设计计算和绘图系统为例 。In process industry, concurrent engineering has been applied as an important approach to assure success in product design and manufacturing. We introduce a new solution:Active Information Environment (AIE) to promote its realization in Virtual Product Development (VPD). The concept, system framework, functions achieved and the main technology involved in the system are discussed in detail. A case study of boiler design and drafting system is made to illustrate the concept and implementation of AIE system.
