摘　　要：本文介绍了 GIS的特点 ,归纳了 GIS的应用范围 ,对近年来 GIS技术前瞻性应用及其最新发展趋势进行了研究和展望 ,同时也指出了This paper introduces the characteristics of GIS and makes a summary on its application areas. It foresees some future applications of GIS as well as the new trend of GIS development. Problems in GIS application areas and ideas of solutions to them are also discussed.
