摘　　要：通过对路由器的基本工作原理包括数据传送算法和路由算法的描述 ,结合路由器在网络流量计费中的应用实例 ,阐述了路由器在局域网与广域网互连中的作用 .路由器具有判断网络地址和选择路径的功能 .通过路由算法计算出最佳路径连接各种子网、实现网络互连以及通过配置路由器中的访问列表控制流经路由器的网络流量 。This paper describes the theory of a router which includes the scheduing algorithm and routing algorithm,according to the applied example of a router to data stream of the network counter,expatiates on the action of a router in LAN link up WAN,the router has functions of judging network address and selecting path,it can link up with subnets by calculating the best path,accomplishs the link of network.Through configuring the access list,the router can permit or prohibit inflow and outflow of data of network.
