摘　　要：在分析传统搜索引擎技术所存在不足的基础上,介绍了搜索引擎发展过程中出现的一种新技术多元搜索引擎。深入分析了多元搜--索引擎系统的组成结构,详细地考察了多元搜索引擎的发展状况,并对多元搜索引擎的系统指标进行了完整的评价。On the basis of analyzing the problems of traditional search engines, this article introduces metasearch engine, a new tool using multiple search engines simultaneously according to a same query. Metasearch engine has evolved from the traditional search engine technology. This article explains its structure and composition in details, compares it with the existing metasearch tools completely and evaluates its searching efficiency thoroughly. The results show that the metasearch engine performs better than the traditional tools in internet resource searching.
