摘　　要：被称为“快速淬冷”式急冷废热锅炉可用于短停留时间、中等处理能力炉管的乙烯裂解炉 ,该设备特为最新开发的乙烯裂解炉配备 ,也可用于其它结构的裂解炉 ,该废热锅炉结合了高比表面积 ,快速冷却等传统废热锅炉的优点 ,也结合了线性废热锅炉短的进口停留时间 ,不存在“返混”流动的优点 。A new TLE named the “Quick Quencher”has been developed for use with short residence time ethylene cracking furnaces utilizing moderate capacity coils.The design was developed specifically for use with newest cracking heater.It can be adapted to other configurations as well.The new TLE combines the advantages of high surface/volume and rapid cooling found in conventional TLE's with those of low inlet residence time and elimination of back mixing found in linear units.The design concept and key features of this new TLE are presented in this paper.
