摘　　要：通过对湘耒高速公路红层路堑边坡的坡高、坡长、岩性、强度、节理裂隙、地下水、岩层产状和厚度、岩体结构等的调查 ,弄清了红层边坡工程地质特征 ,然后在此基础上对红层路堑边坡进行工程地质及系统聚类 ,两种分类结果一致 。Engineering geologic charactieristics of slope in red beds are clarified through the investigation of all the details of roadcuts and slopes in red beds and then conduct the engineering geologic and systematic clustering on roadcuts and slopes in red beds. The outcomes of the two classifications are identical, which indicate the classifications are correct and can be used as bases for analysis on slope stability and protection designs.
